Codes of Conduct

All stakeholders are required to agree to abide by the applicable code of conduct as a prior condition to their participation in league activities.

Players

As a player I will:

  • Commit my time and enthusiasm to my team.
  • Show respect for the league, the referees, the coaches and the players.
  • Refrain from swearing on the floor, on the bench, in the dressing room or at the rink.
  • Be aware of and comply with the league's strict "zero tolerance policy" concerning the use of drugs and/or alcohol at sanctioned events. 

Coaches

As a coach I will:

  • Commit my time and enthusiasm to the team and the league.
  • Lead by example and show respect for league officials, the referees, the players and my fellow coaches.
  • Refrain from swearing on the floor, on the bench, in the dressing room or at the rink.
  • Operate my team based on the rules established by the league and will play all of my players on an equal-time basis.
  • Communicate any concerns I have with the players, parents, coaches and league officials.

Parents

As a parent I will:

  • Show respect for the referees, the coaches and the league.
  • Commit to ensuring my child or children reach the maximum attendance possible for games and practices. 
  • Communicate any concerns I have with the coaches and league officials.

Referees

As a referee I will:

  • Lead by example and show respect for the players and coaches.
  • Maintain my knowledge of the league rules.
  • Commit to arriving on time, starting each game on time, and being ready to supervise each game to my fullest ability.
